B2skool vs Teachmint

Teachmint and B2skool are increasingly solving different problems, and the most useful thing a comparison can do is say so plainly before you spend a term evaluating the wrong one.

Everything stated here about Teachmint comes from public sources, linked at the foot of the page and checked on 28 October 2026. Products change — if something here is out of date or wrong, tell us and we will correct it.

Fee managementCore, and the offline half of it is free: fee heads, concessions, receipts, the day book and the printed register.Their own fee-management page now reads "Looking for our fee management solution? While that module is no longer available, we’re excited to introduce you to Teachmint X" and directs visitors to the hardware.source

What Teachmint does well

  • They publish a free plan with its contents listed, which is more than most of this market offers.
  • Their classroom hardware and AI teaching tools are a genuinely different proposition, and if a connected classroom is what your school is buying this year, we are not the comparison you want.
  • They operate across several countries, which is rare for a company that started in Indian classrooms.

If this is what your school needs, they are a reasonable choice and we would rather you knew that now than after an onboarding.

What we could not verify

  • Any price, tier or unit for Teachmint’s school software. No figure is published, and we do not repeat the per-user dollar figures circulating on third-party sites.
  • Whether the Free Plan is permanent. Their page gives a start date but no duration or renewal condition.
  • Whether a free tier exists for administration — fees, admissions, student information — as opposed to the classroom offering.
  • Free-trial availability or length.
  • Whether setup, onboarding, training or data migration is included or charged.
  • Minimum contract length, renewal or auto-renewal behaviour.
  • Any AMC or software renewal fee after a hardware purchase or after the warranty period.
  • That Teachmint has discontinued its school ERP. We found that claim only on a competitor’s marketing blog with no vendor statement behind it, so we do not make it. Only the fee-management page carries a withdrawal notice, and only for that module.
  • Their school, institute or user counts.

We have left these out rather than guessing. Ask Teachmint directly — and hold us to the same standard.

We are probably not competing for the same budget

Teachmint’s own storefront today sells interactive panels and classroom hardware; ours is a school’s administrative system. If your decision this term is about what goes on the classroom wall, nothing on this page should sway you — buy the board. If your decision is about how admissions, fees, attendance and report cards get done, that is the comparison worth having, and it is the one their own pages suggest has moved on.

Ask which modules are still supported before you sign

Their legacy School ERP page lists nine solutions and is still live. Their fee-management page says that module is no longer available. We are deliberately not drawing a wider conclusion from that — we found no vendor statement discontinuing the ERP, and a competitor blog claiming otherwise is not evidence, so we are not repeating it. What we are saying is narrower and checkable: if you are evaluating them for administration, get a written list of which of those nine modules are currently supported, and for how long. That is a fair question to ask any vendor, us included.

A free classroom tier and a free office are different offers

Their free plan covers the connected classroom — whiteboard, simulations, the teacher app, EduAI. Ours covers the office: student and staff records, the admissions pipeline, fee receipts and the day book, attendance, the timetable, exams, board report cards, the library and the visitor register, with no student cap and no expiry. Both are real and neither is a trick. They just land on different desks, and the one you need depends on which problem is costing you more this year.

Straight answers

Switching from Teachmint

Is B2skool a replacement for Teachmint?

For school administration, yes. For a connected classroom with an interactive board and AI teaching tools, no — that is what Teachmint X is, and we do not make one. Several schools will reasonably run both.

Teachmint had a fee module. What happened to it?

Their own fee-management page states the module is no longer available and points visitors to Teachmint X. We are not going further than that, because they have published nothing further. If you are relying on it, ask them in writing.

Can we move our data from Teachmint to B2skool?

Yes. Export whatever you can and send it over — students, staff, fee heads, ledgers, marks — and our onboarding team cleans, maps and imports it, then hands it back for you to verify against your own registers.

Is this page fair to Teachmint?

We think so, and we have deliberately left out the most damaging claim circulating about them because we could not source it. Everything asserted here is quoted from their own pages, linked and dated. If anything is wrong or has changed, tell us and we will correct it.
